Former national footballer Makkaraparambu Kavungal Abdul Aziz (Malappuram Aziz) (73) has passed away. The funeral will be held at 11 am at Makarapparambu Town Juma Masjid.
He was the captain of the Services, Karnataka and Mohammedans Sporting teams. The first member of the Kerala team to win the Santosh Trophy football title, K. Cheku is a brother.
