Former U.S. President Trump Turns into Boxing Commentator on 20th Anniversary of 9/11 Terror

Former US President Donald Trump will serve as a boxing commentator in a boxing match featuring former world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield (58) on the 11th.

Former President Trump will be commenting with his son Donald Trump Jr. for four games in Hollywood, Florida. The boxing match on this day can be watched for a fee on FITE.TV. The subscription fee is $49.99 (about 58,500 won) and can be viewed through mobile and smart TV apps.

“I love great players and great games,” Trump said. I hope to see a great game against a great player on the night of the 11th and share my thoughts on him. You won’t want to miss this special event,” he said in a press release.

The match was originally scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, and the main game was a comeback fight between legendary boxer Oscar de la Hoga and former UFC champ Vitor Belfort, who won six weight divisions, but de la Hoya was stricken with COVID-19. He got infected and was hospitalized, and Holyfield fought Belfort instead of de la Jolla. The match was moved to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida because the California State Athletic Commission did not approve the match because of Holyfield’s old age. Holyfield, the former cruiserweight and heavyweight world champion, turns 59 in October and has not competed since 2011. The match against Belport will be played in 8 rounds of 2 minutes.

Trump has a long-standing relationship with boxing over the years, hosting or hosting several boxing matches at his own casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The 11th is the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, but former President Trump has no special schedule for this.
