Former world champion boxer charged without detention… 30 days first trial

[아시아경제 김형민 기자] It has been confirmed that a former national boxer who won a gold medal at the Asian Games has been handed over to trial for sexual harassment.

According to the legal community on the 27th, Lim Gwang-ho, the 20th independent criminal of the Seoul Central District Court, will hold the first trial of Mr.

Moon was handed over to trial on charges of touching the body of a woman sitting next to him while having a meal with acquaintances at a restaurant in Gangnam-gu, Seoul in June. It is reported that Moon strongly denies the allegations.

On the 25th of last month, the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office for Women and Children Crime Investigation Division (Director Prosecutor Kim Won-ho) indicted Ms. Moon without detention on charges of sexual harassment.


Meanwhile, Moon is said to be a former boxer who won two gold medals at the Asian Games and also won the World Boxing Association competition and became the world champion.
