CHICAGO (CBS) – Thursday will be a freezing cold night for some in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin as the season’s cooler air stabilizes.
The showers will end early in the evening. The lows will hit 41 degrees in O’Hare, but McHenry could drop to 34 degrees.
Fridays bring sunshine and highs to the mid-1950s, which is a typical temperature in early November, not October.

Forecast:
Thursday night: freeze warning for McHenry County and NNW areas. A first downpour then partly cloudy. Low of 41 officially in O’Hare.
Friday: Sunny and cold with a maximum of 54.
