Glenn Hughson took these photographs on March 10, 2019, on the shore of Lake Michigan in Manistique, a city in the Upper Peninsula of the US state of Michigan. Glenn said to us:

I have seen plenty of frozen lakes, but the waves have not been frozen like this before.

He described his other photograph (below):

I could walk about 100 feet or so on top of the waves before I reached this edge when the freezing waves ended.

Thank you for sharing your photos with us, Glenn!

Bottom line: Photographs of frozen waves on Lake Michigan.
