‘Fulbright’ Foundation.

Recently, it has been engulfed in controversy when it is known that all four families of Minister of Education Kim In-cheol have received scholarships.

Candidate Kim dismissed the allegations, saying that the foundation has ‘public credibility’ where it has been operating for over 70 years.

It turned out that the president of the Korea-American Education Commissioner’s Party, who gave a scholarship to Kim’s daughter, also used the foundation as a for-profit tool for his family.

A thank you note for a master’s thesis written in 2016 by the daughter of Minister of Education Kim In-cheol.

“I am especially grateful to ‘Chief Mo Shim’ of the Korea-US Education Committee for selecting me as a Fulbright Scholar.”

Director Shim served as the head of the Korea-U.S. Education Commission, run jointly by the Korean government and the US State Department, from 2004 to 2019.

However, in 2018, for the first time in about 14 years, another person was appointed as the general manager.

Mr. Jeon Mo, who was directly hired by Director Shim as a scholarship officer in 2013.

He is the eldest son of Mr.

He started out as a contract worker with an annual salary of 72 million won, but when he took office, his annual salary was set at 126 million won.

However, none of the members of the panel knew that they were a mother-and-child relationship.

The problem was that there was a ‘prohibition on the appointment of relatives’ in the committee,

A director who found out about this belatedly raised the issue and an investigation began, and Mr. Jeon was fired after trying to destroy evidence.

However, he later filed a lawsuit and lost in the second trial in February of this year.

Not only this.

Director Shim used the building owned by his second son as a lodging for Fulbright international students coming to Korea and received a higher-than-market rent, and instructed him to pay for his own apartment with the foundation’s money.

Shim also insisted in a media interview in 2013 that ‘parents should walk the right path’.

“We have to teach people how to do right from an early age, but we parents also need to be really awakened. What kind of way is it to raise my children properly? You have to think about that…”

It has been confirmed that the Korea-US Education Commission, which has received about 35.7 billion won in support from the Ministry of Education for the past 10 years, has not been supervised even once.
