6G is called ‘dream communication’. The theoretical speed is 1000 gigabit, which is 50 times faster than 5G (20 gigabit). The time it takes for a user to send and receive data to and from an Internet server is only 1000 microseconds (10,000ths of a second). This is the speed at which a 20GB movie can be downloaded in 0.16 seconds. The government and academia are forecasting 2028-2030 as the time to commercialize 6G.
