G-20 conference; Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Rome

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Rome to attend G20 summit The conference is for two days. Modi will hold talks with Italian Prime Minister Mario Daragi and the Pope.

Modi’s visit comes at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Mario Daragi. The economic crisis facing the world and climate change will be the main topics of discussion at the conference. The Prime Minister will also share proposals for economic progress at the first G-20 summit since the start of the Kovid crisis.

During his two-day visit to Italy, Modi will also meet the Pope. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Rome in 12 years. This is Modi’s first visit to Italy since becoming the Prime Minister of India. Modi, who is on his way to the UK from Rome, will also attend the COP 26 conference in Glasgow.
