According to YG Entertainment’s quarterly report published on the 15th of last month, ‘Major contracts and research and development activities’, G-Dragon’s name is not listed in the list of singers and actors contracted on March 31st. As a result, rumors spread that G-Dragon would leave YG without an official announcement from YG.
In this regard, on the 6th, YG Entertainment officials made their first statement. According to the person in question, “G-Dragon’s exclusive contract has now expired.” However, regarding the relationship between YG Entertainment and G-Dragon in the future, it has been suggested that ‘in progress’ is still possible.

This is because a YG official explained, “We cooperate through a separate contract for advertising and other activities,” and added, “We intend to negotiate additional contracts when we resume music activities, and YG will not support this.”
