During a meeting with US Secretary of State Tony Blincoln, Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong shared the importance of stable management of the situation on the Korean Peninsula and discussed ways to early restart the peace process on the Korean Peninsula, including a declaration of an end to the Korean War.

“The two Ministers evaluated that the strong South Korea-US alliance is developing into a comprehensive global alliance for resolving global issues such as supply chains and COVID-19 response, beyond regional cooperation in Northeast Asia and the Indo-Pacific region,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
