The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport begins public-private cooperation for the timely opening of Gadeokdo New Airport.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 28th that it will hold a road map briefing for the private construction industry on the 31st at 2:00 pm at the Construction Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Previously, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 14th that it would build Gadeokdo New Airport in a landfill method across land and sea with the aim of opening in December 2029.

In the briefing session, the chief planning service engineer for Gadeokdo New Airport will present a case of landfilling of Haneda D Airport in Japan, which is similar to the interim achievement, and will listen to the opinions of the industry.

The briefing can be attended by applying in advance. Application for participation and inquiry can be made through the Korea construction association.
