Samsung Electronics announced that it will fix the 30x camera zoom bug that occurs in some Galaxy S series products in the April update.
30x camera zoom crashes have been reported on the Galaxy S series with the One UI 5.1 update installed. After launching the camera app, if you quickly set it by dragging the camera to zoom 30x, a crash occurs.
According to Samsung, it is understood that the fault occurs due to the difference in the operating time point when changing the camera lens quickly. Samsung said it “has already completed a fix for this issue and will provide a solution through a software update in April.”
The bug is known to only affect the Galaxy S20 Series, Galaxy S21 Series, and Galaxy S22 Series. In addition, Samsung will also provide camera optimization to the Galaxy S23 series through the April update.
