Galaxy S22 series major firmware update in preparation, expected to be released in the second half of the year

In relation to the One UI applied to Samsung smartphones, news has recently been reported that a new firmware version 4.1.1 or 5.0 is being developed.

The news was confirmed through Sammobile, and Samsung mentioned that there is a test firmware the company is developing, and that this build is being developed for the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra.

In addition, the currently confirmed firmware versions are S901BXXU2BVE7, S906BXXU2BVE7, and S908BXXU2BVE7, and it is predicted that One UI will be updated, but it is not possible to confirm the exact version yet.

If this firmware version is One UI 4.1.1 version, it is expected to coincide with the release time of the Samsung Flip 4 and Fold 4, which are expected to be released at the end of this year, and it is expected that this will be done by updating existing smartphones.

And if the firmware update is One UI 5.0 version, it is likely to be a major upgrade such as adding new functions, and it is only updated on Android 13, so there will be update restrictions depending on some smartphones.
