Galaxy S22 series, the distribution of the latest official UX version ‘One UI 5.0’ begins

On the 25th, Samsung Electronics began distributing the official version of ‘One UI 5.0’, the latest user experience (UX) for the Galaxy S22 series. The Galaxy S22 series started the One UI 5.0 beta program for the first time in a Galaxy device in August, and the last beta 5 update was released last week.

In OneUI 5.0, which is based on the Android 13 version, various functions are newly added as well as the user interface (UI) with a new design. First, a new Methods and Arrangements menu has been added. This enables users to further customize their personal life patterns. For example, if the user selects ‘exercise mode’, all alarms are blocked while running or swimming, so that the user can focus more on the exercise.

The lock screen setting function has also been improved. You can set a video as wallpaper, and change the style of the clock and alarm easily from the lock screen. In addition, by using the ‘Dynamic Lock Screen’ function, users can freely select multiple images from the gallery to decorate the lock screen according to their individuality.

A new feature called ‘Bixby Text Call’ was also introduced. This way, if the user is unable to answer a call, the caller’s voice is converted to a text message and sent to the recipient.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics plans to provide the full version of OneUI 5.0 to ▲Galaxy S21 series ▲Galaxy Z Fold 4 ▲Galaxy Z Fold 3 ▲Galaxy Z Flip 4 ▲Galaxy Z Flip 3 within this year.
