Gasoline prices soar in North Chungcheong Province… Average 1784 won

According to the Korea National Oil Corporation oil price information service Opinet, the average gasoline price in North Chungcheong Province (as of October 31) was 1,784 won per liter, up 452 won from 1332 won during the same period last year.

Gasoline prices have been rising and falling since May of last year, when they recorded 1,200 won per liter, and have been steadily rising since November of the same year. Then, in June of this year, for the first time, it recorded 1,600 won per liter, and soared from September.

The average gasoline price in the province is 4 won higher than the national average of 1,780 won per liter and 2 won higher than the Sejong and Chungnam average of 1782 won.

The most expensive gas station in the province was 153 Iwon-myeon, Okcheon-gun, 1950 won per liter, and the cheapest was Sangpyeong gas station, Gamgok-myeon, Eumseong-gun, which cost 1698 won per liter.

In the case of Cheongju, the most expensive place is Yongjeong-dong Archery Station gas station (1899 won per 1 liter), and the cheapest places are Namcheongju Nonghyup gas station in Nam-myeon and Hanyang gas station of Ipo Energy Co., Ltd. (1705 won per 1 liter).
