New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer and MP Gautam Gambhir has received death threats from IS militants. According to Delhi Police, Gambhir had received death threats from ISIS Kashmir.
The death threat came in an e-mail on Tuesday night. The Delhi Police has beefed up security at the actor’s house in Rajendra Nagar. Central DCP Shweta Chauhan said those who threatened her would be brought to justice soon.
Gambhir, who won two World Cups for India, retired from all forms of cricket in 2018. In 2019, he was elected a BJP MP from East Delhi.
