Georgia Tech Announces Future Football Partners - Football Yellow Jackets - Georgia Tech

FLAT – Georgia Tech announced Thursday that it hosts Northern Illinois and West Carolina for non-conferencing football games in 2021 and 2022, respectively. The Yellow Jackets will face NIU for the first time on September 25, 2021 and will run against the WCU for the sixth time on September 10, 2022. Both matches will be played by Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Northern Illinois is a member of the NCAA Central American Conference in American IBS. West Carolina is a member of Southern ICS Conference in Southern FCS and the alma issue of Georgia Tech coach head Geoff Collins. Collins played a defensive and outside back lighter for WCU from 1989-92 and earned a Bachelor degree in sports management and fitness science.

With the additions of NIU and WCU, Georgia Tech's non-conferencing schedules have been completed by 2022.

This Saturday, Georgia Tech begins a stretch of seven ACC games when North Carolina hosts Bobby Dodd Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. (Television: ACP Network). Saturday's contest against UNC is an annual Georgia Family Weekend and Tech Hall of Fame. The Yellow Jackets wear their gray Cape Day uniforms as part of the 2018 adidas Strategy Uniform series and as an honor to the children who fight with illnesses and injuries at Atlanta Child Health Care.
