Participation in the first army has been long since July 10, 2021
On the 24th, the Nippon Professional Baseball Organization (NPB) announced the registration of a player under the management of outfielder Takayuki Kajitani, which was a training contract. In May 2022, he underwent surgery on the meniscus of his left knee and was under a training contract. The jersey number will be “13” again.
Kajitani joined the DeNA Giants during the 2020 off-season, but in 2021, the first year after the transfer, he played 61 games with a .282 batting average, 4 home runs, and 88 RBI. There was no first participation in the army last year.
Suffering from repeated fractures, he will not take part in the army for the first time until July 10, 2021. The 34-year-old veteran will grab the command ticket again before the opening and aim to take part in the army first for the first time in about a year and a half.
