Thiruvananthapuram: The accused Mohammad Irfan, who stole from the house of a jewelery owner in Kawadiar, has been arrested in Goa. Robinhood, a native of Bihar, has been arrested in connection with another multi – crore theft case in Panaji, Goa. The state police has started the process to bring him to Kerala.
A diamond necklace worth Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 60,000 were stolen from the jewelery owner’s house in Kawadiar. On the morning of April 14, CCTV camera surveillance and security guards and watch dogs overtook and stole jewelery and money from inside the house.
The information about the accused was obtained from the examination of the CCTV cameras. Mohammad Irfan was humbled when he drew a picture of his girlfriend by hand. This is how he was identified. Subsequently, a search was conducted within the state for him but no rust was found. Information about the theft was passed on to other states. He was later arrested by Goan police. He was arrested in a case of stealing Rs 1 crore from a house in Goa.
