‘Given this opportunity, even the Waltons will score a half-century at least once’

New Delhi: Former pace bowler Dodda Ganesh on Monday lashed out at Ajinkya Rahane for giving him a place in the Indian Test team. Ganesh’s criticism is against keeping Rahane in the team despite his consistent poor performances.

Ganesh tweeted that even the Waltons would score a half-century at least once if given a chance in 15-20 innings.

Ganesh was responding to a fan named Jones who tweeted about Indian coach Rahul Dravid’s remarks about captain Rahane after the first Test against New Zealand.

‘Rahane is a great player. Has played well before. Given a little more time, Rahane will be back in form. Things can change. So do not worry. He will score runs. ‘ This was Dravid’s reaction to Rahane.
