Yesterday, it was reported that The Callisto Protocol DLC Season Pass will include a new Jacob death animation, and more such as a new map, a new game mode, a new story, and skin packs. Many gamers have begun to suspect that the inclusion of the Callisto Protocol in the base game may be holding it back. Because most of the content will probably come from DLC.
Recently, Glen Schofield, creator of The Callisto Protocol and founder of Striking Distance Studios, clarified via Twitter that he had assured fans that the content of the Season Pass would not hold back the main game.
To be clear: We do not withhold anything from the main game for a season ticket. We haven’t even started working on this content yet. It’s all new things we’ll be working on in the new year. Fans have requested EVEN MORE deaths, so we’re making it a priority next year.

“We are not holding back the base game for a Season Ticket. We also do not make any content related to DLC. All new content. There are plans to start developing in the new year, and of course, because fans want more death scenes. We will focus on developing that content over the next year,” said Glen Schofield on Twitter.
Callisto Protocol releases on December 2 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
