Global Short Film Festival at Vailoppilly Sanskriti Bhavan

Thiruvananthapuram: Vailoppilly Sanskriti Bhavan in collaboration with South Indian Cinema Television Academy screened 26 films on the second day of the sad short film festival. Mostly the films of diaspora Malayalees were shown.

Anuradha Nambiar’s ‘Kavakam’, which won the Best Director award, was screened. The film highlights Kannur’s most famous art form, Theiya.

Dr. Instrumental music performed by Suresh Babu came on stage.

Vailoppilly Sanskriti Bhavan Vice Chairman GS Pradeep, RS Pradeep, Bhasha Foundation Director M Sathyan, Women Commission Member HM Radha, Bindu Pradeep and Shri Dhanya were present.
