‘Golf Goddess’ Spiranacci challenges the world record for the 100m run for the Olympics

Paige Spiranachi (28, UK), famous for being the ‘goddess of golf’, took on a unique challenge.

On the occasion of the Tokyo Olympics, Spiranachi posted a funny video on his social media account, saying, “I will challenge the 100-meter women’s record.” It was an oath to break the 100m world record of 10.49 set by Griffith Joyner at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.

“I love the Olympics. I like to see players pushing their limits. I am also challenging the 100m world record today.”

The ambition was good, but the result was ridiculous. Spiranachi’s record was 14.24. It’s fine for the general public, but it’s a record among players. “I was shocked that I couldn’t break the world record. Actually, I wanted to show how great the players are,” he joked.
