[이데일리 스타in 임정우 기자] Tiger Woods (USA), the ‘golf king’, released a video of him swinging for the first time in 9 months after a car accident in February of this year.

Woods posted on his social network service (SNS) on the 22nd (Korean time), “It’s getting better little by little” along with a three-second swing video.

In February, near Los Angeles, California, Woods suffered a serious leg injury when the car he was driving overturned. Woods, who was on the operating table right away, was injured so badly that it was unclear whether he could resume playing in the future.

In several photos released after the accident, Woods was on crutches and wearing a brace on his right leg. In the photo released last May, he was wearing crutches, but the protector became lighter. In the photo released in October, he was standing with his golf club on the ground at the junior tournament where his son participated without crutches.

Nine months after the accident, in this video released by Woods himself, Woods swung as before at Medalist Golf Club in Florida, USA, near his home. The American Golf Channel speculated that “there are many divot marks where Woods swung, so it seems that he practiced his swing several times in addition to the swing shown in the video.”

On the video uploaded by Woods, Jason Day (Australia), Justin Thomas, Kevin Na (USA), and the PGA Tour official account left supportive comments. Day said, “It’s good to see this scene.”
