This is because Google is campaigning against a bill that is being promoted by lawmakers from the opposition and opposition parties as a hostage, and at the same time raising doubts about text terrorism, etc.
On the 23rd, according to an official from the Minjoo Party which belongs to the overprotection party, the vice president of YouTube, Gutham Anand, was included in the list of general witnesses of the government’s overprotection audit to be held from October 4th. The purpose of this is to ask why the ‘Partial Amendment to the Telecommunications Business Act (aka the Prevention of Careless Rides Act)’ proposed by 14 members including Representative Yoon Young-chan (and the Democratic Party) is why the damage is transferred. for creators like YouTubers.
The content that Vice President Gutham Anand recently posted on YouTube Korea’s official blog became a hot topic. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense held a public hearing to review the amendments to the Telecommunications Business Act relating to the payment of network usage fees. The vice president posted the post immediately after the public hearing ended. It was a meeting prepared to organize the bills relating to the network usage fee pending in the National Assembly and to listen to the views of the content and telecommunications industry. Currently, there are seven bills related to network usage fees, including a bill proposed by Representative Yoon and 14 other members of the National Assembly.

OpenNet Korea, an incorporated association, is conducting an anti-signature campaign to oppose the payment of network usage fees. YouTube is encouraging creators to join the protest movement. Gutham Anand said, “Creators, including Asian Boss, expressed deep concerns about the matter. Those who are concerned about the related laws, please raise their voices together.”
The Senedd is uncomfortable. This is because it is interpreted as a challenge to a measure agreed upon by the opposition and the opposition parties.
