Goyang Carrot’s ‘firework shooter’ Jeon Seong-hyeon (32) was selected as the MVP in the 3rd round of the 2022-2023 SKT Adot Pro Basketball regular league.
KBL announced on the 4th, “Jeon Seong-hyun, who received 61 out of 91 valid votes in the third round of professional basketball, became MVP.”
Jeon Seong-hyun scored 25.7 points (2nd overall, 1st domestic player) in 33 minutes and 58 seconds per game in the 3rd round, and averaged 5.4 3-point shots (1st overall).
Jeon Seong-hyun, who was also selected as the MVP in the first round of this season, also became the MVP in the third round and received a commemorative trophy and a cash prize of 2 million.
Jeon Seong-hyun scored 20 or more points in 10 consecutive games between December 4 and 31 last year. This is the fifth record as a domestic player following Seo Jang-hoon, Moon Kyung-eun, Kim Young-man, and Hyun Joo-yeop.
In addition, Seong-Hyun Jeon also continues his streak of successful 3-point shots in 69 consecutive games.
In this third round MVP vote, Heo Woong (Jeonju KCC), following Jeon Seong-hyun, received 26 votes and came second in the third round MVP vote.
Meanwhile, Byun Jun-hyung (Anyang KGC Ginseng Corporation) was selected as the MVP for the second round of the regular season.
