GPF informs members that they can apply for retirement in advance and will receive a refund within 7 working days after the document has been verified
Dr. Srikanya Yathip, secretary-general of the Government Pension Fund (GPF) committee, said that more than 23,000 members of the GPF who are about to retire at the end of fiscal year 2021 or on September 30, can request to request the money. b. Members can check their balance and track their refund status conveniently and quickly via My GPF Application, My Account Menu and Chat with Bot Menu. Type the word request refund, then select the menu. Track your refund request status In addition, members still receive tax benefits. Because the lump sum received from the GPF will be exempt from personal income tax.
Dr. Srikanya said that for members who do not have a plan to spend a lump sum immediately after retirement, GPF would like to offer a savings management option with “services to save with GPF”, which will be managed by a staff of investment specialists of GPF. Investments to create a continuous return on members’ savings upon retirement Members can choose to use the savings service in 4 ways as follows: 1) Saving the whole amount 2) Gradually receiving payments in installments, i.e. monthly, three-monthly, six-month, or yearly 3) requesting some of the remaining money GPF continues to manage and 4) asks for some money. The rest will gradually receive the money in installments and can notify the change of saving form twice a year via the My GPF Application menu “Continue Saving”
