In the opening match of the professional volleyball women’s cup, GS Caltex and Hyundai E&C won side by side.
In the first match of the women’s group A group of the 2021 Uijeongbu-Dodram Cup professional volleyball tournament held at Uijeongbu Gymnasium in Gyeonggi-do, last year’s winner GS Caltex defeated Ginseng Corporation 3-1.
Kang So-hwi and Yoo Seo-yeon scored 16 points side by side, and Choi Eun-ji added 15 points, and the main players performed well.
Soyoung Lee, who transferred from GS Caltex to Ginseng Corporation as a free agent (FA), was absent due to shoulder pain.
Hyundai E&C defeated Heungkuk Life 3-1 in the first round of Group B.
While Hyojin Yang, center, who participated in the Tokyo Olympics, took a break, Minkyung Hwang led the victory by scoring 18 points.
Manager Kang Sung-Sung, who took over the baton of Hyundai E&C, won the women’s professional volleyball team’s debut match as the commander-in-chief.
