“GTA: The Trilogy” sells poorly, Rockstar legend stops two classic remakes

The “Grand Theft Auto” series is one of the ace cards of the game company Rockstar Games, but last year they released the old games to the collection “Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition” in exchange for players to treat them coldly, and there were a lot of bugs when they first came out. is a big reason. It is alleged that Rockstar decided to call off plans to release remakes of two older games because of the game’s poor sales.

A foreign game website quoted people familiar with the matter as saying that remakes of “Grand Theft Auto IV” and “Red Dead Redemption” have been on the list of Rockstar’s consideration for the past few years, but the plan has recently been stopped. It has been pointed out that Rockstar has not completely given up, but will now focus on the long-awaited and extremely demanding Grand Theft Auto VI.

Grand Theft Auto IV launched on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in 2008, while Red Dead Redemption hit PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010, and both games were hugely popular at the time. Based on the current situation, Rockstar will consider launching the two games as remakes at least after Grand Theft Auto VI is released.
