Guardiola is the king of the leagues. 10 wins in 13 seasons with Barça, Bayern and City

Pep Guardiola has not been able to win the Champions League for more than a decade, but in the case of the championships he certainly has no equal contenders. In the hardest struggle the coach snatched his fourth title in five years. Such results impress not only experts and fans, but also betting enthusiasts. They go to ggbet and pick favorites to add excitement to their viewing experience.

Pep has won three top leagues at least three times – three championships with Barcelona, three with Bayern and four with Man City. Ten titles in 13 seasons is a phenomenal result.

Barcelona (2008/09, 2009/10, 2010/11)

In 2008, Joan Laporta believed in the coach of Barcelona B, appointing Guardiola as head coach. Thus began the story of one of the greatest teams in history. Pep noticeably reshaped the squad – and won the treble in his first season, becoming the youngest coach to win the Champions League.

In the next two seasons the dominance continued, with the Catalans finishing second in the fourth. In four years, Guardiola won a record 14 trophies for the club.

Bayern (2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16)

After a one-year break, the Catalan decided to continue his career in Germany. In his first season, he took the title seven rounds before the end of the season, the earliest championship in Bundesliga history.

It was here that the rivalry between Guardiola and Jürgen Klopp was born, and it continues to impress us to this day. In the next two seasons Pep again left no one a chance for the title, losing only 9 times in three years in the Bundesliga.

Man City (2017/18, 2018/19, 2020/21, 2021/22)

Next, Guardiola went on to conquer England.

In the summer of 2016, Pep made several important signings, including picking up Ilkay Gündogan from Borussia Dortmund, now a key contributor to winning the title. It was not possible to take the Premier League right away, with City finishing only third.

Over the next five years, however, Guardiola won four championships. And that against one of the strongest teams in the history of the league – Klopp’s Liverpool.

Pep has already surpassed Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger, who have won the APL 3 times each. Ahead of that is only the great Alex Ferguson, who has won the tournament 13 times.

All in all, Guardiola won the 32nd trophy in his coaching career and the 11th in his 6 years at Man City.

What about the other coaches?

Only Fabio Capello (5 in Serie A, 2 in La Liga), Elenio Herrera (4 in La Liga, 3 in Serie A) and José Mourinho (3 in the APL and 2 in Serie A, plus a triumph in La Liga) have won at least twice in two different top leagues. And one cannot ignore Carlo Ancelotti: victories in all the top 5 leagues, even if only once each.

Among the current coaches with international victories there are also Antonio Conte (4 in Serie A, 1 in the APL), Roberto Mancini (3 in Serie A, 1 in the APL), Jurgen Klopp (2 in Bundesliga, 1 in the APL) and Louis van Gaal (2 in La Liga, 1 in Bundesliga). Giovanni Trapattoni stands out strongly in comparison: 7 in Serie A, 1 in the Bundesliga.
