A 39-year-old guitar instructor was involved in multiple assaults and indecent assaults on a 14-year-old female student in classrooms in Kwun Tong and Wong Tai Sin last year. The case was brought up in Kwun Tong Magistrates Court today (22nd). The defendant denies three counts of common assault, one count of indecent assault and one count of indecent assault with a child under the age of 16. The case was adjourned to July 29 for retrial, during which the accused was released on bail.
The charge alleges that the defendant, Chen Hualong (39 years old), reported as a guitar tutor and was charged with assaulting Girl X at a unit of Yili Industrial Centre in Kwun Tong on August 4, 2021; Attacked X at a shop in Garden Shopping Mall; on the 13th of the same month, indecently assaulted X and committed indecent acts at a unit of Yili Industrial Center.
