Gulf News: UAE crowns Saudi Crown Prince with highest civilian honor

Abu Dhabi: Saudi Crown Prince, Cabinet Vice President and Minister of Defense Muhammad Bin Salman has been awarded the UAE’s highest civilian honor, the Order of Zayed. Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan presented the award on behalf of the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan at a ceremony in Qasr Al Watan.

The Order of Zayed is an award given to world leaders, including heads of state. The award recognizes contributions to strengthening ties between the two countries. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Emir Mohammed bin Salman Salman, who arrived in the UAE as part of the GCC tour, received the greetings.

Friendship shines; The Saudi Crown Prince arrived in Qatar for the first time since the siege

Doha: Saudi-Qatar relations are brightening after the end of the four-year blockade of Qatar. Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, arrived in Qatar for the first time since the siege. Sheikh Tamim bin Hadam Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, received Prince Salman in person.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman is visiting the Gulf states ahead of this month’s Gulf Summit. He arrived in Qatar after visiting the UAE and Oman. This is his first trip to Qatar since taking over as Saudi Crown Prince in 2017. Saudi Arabia’s official news agency reports that the Emir of Qatar and the Saudi Crown Prince met in Doha.
