Half of the investors who subscribed to LG Ensol’s IPO stock will be in ‘2030’

48.6% of Shinhan Investment’s customers

According to the analysis of Shinhan Financial Investment’s Big Data Center, the investors who participated in this subscription were 20.0% in their 20s and 28.6% in their 30s, with people in their 20s and 30s accounting for 48.6% of the total. The proportion by age was followed by 22.8% in their 40s, 16.4% in their 50s, 6.9% in their 60s, 1.6% in their 70s and older, and 3.7% in their 20s. The proportions of men and women were almost the same at 49.5% and 50.5%, respectively.

When looking at the proportion of the amount of subscription margin paid by each age group, those in their 50s accounted for 26.5% of the total and those in their 40s accounted for 24.3%. 4050 households with spare funds paid 50.8% of the subscription margin. In addition, 18.8% in their 60s, 17.6% in their 30s, 4.9% in their 20s, 7.4% in their 70s and older, and 0.6% in their 20s and under.

98.4% of subscribed investors participated in the subscription using a digital channel such as a mobile trading system (MTS). Investors who visited a branch and made an offline subscription accounted for only 1.63% of the total. However, looking at the subscription amount, the subscription margin paid by investors who subscribed offline accounted for 15.8% of the total. This means that there were many big hands among investors who visited the branch and participated in the subscription. Investors using digital channels accounted for 84.2% of the total subscription margin.
