Hana Financial Group’s new chairman Ham Young-joo, who skipped the inauguration ceremony, visited the ‘East Coast wildfire-affected area’ as the first step in his inauguration and showed his will to prioritize on-site management.

Hana Financial Group said on the 29th that Ham Young-joo, chairman of Hana Financial Group, chose ‘the field’ instead of the office as the first place to work after being appointed as the new chairman through the regular general meeting of shareholders and the board of directors on the 25th.

Chairman Ham, who visited the site of the wildfire damage on the east coast, said, “There is an answer at the site.” “I will take the lead in ‘site-first financial support’ that can provide practical help rather than formality by listening more to the voices of the field and reflecting it in management.” said.

On this day, Chairman Ham Young-joo visited the areas affected by forest fires, such as Gangneung and Uljin, and looked around the damaged areas, and visited the firefighters who fought hard to extinguish the forest fire, and expressed his gratitude and respect.

Chairman Ham Tan climbed on the snack vehicle that Hana Financial Group supported on the spot and delivered coffee and snacks to the firefighters who are dedicated to protecting the safety of the people, saying, “Hana Financial Group will be with you.” did.

Chairman Ham also promised financial support that is practically helpful for firefighters. Hana Bank has decided to provide a specialized insurance product for firefighters, ‘Firefighter Guard Insurance,’ free of charge for one year, along with preferential interest rates for new credit loans to firefighters across the country.

Chairman Ham visited the Uljin Fire Station on that day and delivered a ‘happy box’ worth 300 million won containing practically essential items such as safety boots to keep firefighters safe. The Happy Box will be delivered to 21 organizations including the Uljin Fire Station, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Fire Department, and the Fire School.

Chairman Ham also visited a sales site near the fire site.

After visiting the Hana Bank branch in Gangneung, the Hana Financial Investment complex, and the Hana General Insurance branch, they visited the Yeongju branch of Hana Bank in turn to encourage employees. At this meeting, Chairman Ham listened to employees’ difficulties at the sales site and had a casual conversation with customers who visited the branch.
