Hanwha Eagles signs 5-year 5.4 billion free agent contract with Choi Jae-hoon

[충청투데이 김중곤 기자] Choi Jae-hoon, the hostess of the Eagles, will wear Hanwha’s uniform for five more years.
According to the Hanwha Eagles on the 27th, he signed an FA contract with Choi Jae-hoon for 5 years and 5.4 billion won (1.6 billion won in down payment, 3.3 billion won in annual salary, and up to 500 million won in options).
Jae-Hoon Choi, who was traded from the Doosan Bears in April 2017, recorded a career batting average of 0.277, 15 homers, 153 RBIs, slugging percentage of 0.356 and on-base percentage of 0.376 over the past five years with the Hanwha uniform.
Last year, he was listed as a batting average of 30,000 (batting average of 0.301) for the first time since his debut last year.
Coach Carlos Subero paid attention to his on-base ability and used Jae-Hoon Choi as the second hitter.
