Kolkata: Former India captain Kapil Dev has said that Hardik Pandya, who did not bowl, cannot be described as an all-rounder. Pandya, who returned to the T20 World Cup as an all-rounder after recovering from an injury, did not bowl and played only Hardik as a batsman, which affected India’s balance. It is against this backdrop that Kapil came up with the critique.

Hardik Pandya bowled just two overs in the match after India’s hopes were dashed from the World Cup. Hardick was dropped by the selectors from the T20 series against New Zealand after the World Cup due to fitness issues.

Hardick has to bowl and bat to be considered an all-rounder. How can a person who does not bowl be called an all-rounder? Let him bowl first. Kapil said that Pandya, who has returned from injury, is an important player in the team and needs to bowl more matches before bowling and then call him an all-rounder.

Hardik Pandya : Without bowling how can we call him as an all rounder asks Kapil Dev:

Kapil said that Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are his favorite all-rounders. Kapil, however, said that Jadeja’s batting has improved recently and his bowling has gone downhill. He was a good bowler when he started his career. And the best battery now. He can hit runs whenever India need him. Kapil, however, said that his performance as a bowler was declining.

“Dravid can shine as an Indian coach,” he said. He is a good man and a great cricketer. He can do better as a coach than as a cricketer. Because there is no one better than him in cricket. Kapil said he was looking forward to seeing his performance as a coach.

Kapil said that Dravid’s prowess could not be measured by one or two series and that he would understand what Dravid was going to do if he waited a little longer.
