Brian Durand, former chief executive of Malloy, who started his own political consultancy firm, gave $ 250; Ben Barnes, a former budget adviser for Malloy who works as chief financial officer for the Connecticut State Colleges and Colleges system, gave $ 100; Mallow's chief criminal justice adviser, Mike Lawlor, also gave $ 100; and Gian-Carl Casa, who worked in Barnes budget office, donated $ 75.
