Hat trick win; Gokulam Forward | Gokulam Kerala FC

Kolkata ഗോ Gokulam Kerala FC secured 2nd round entry in I-League football with their 3rd consecutive win. Gokulam defeated Sudeva FC 1–0 to finish second in the league with 16 points. Suveda 8th. Ghana’s striker Philippe Adja scored for Gokul in the 68th minute. Only the top 6 finishers in the first round will advance to the second round according to the new I-League schedule.

Although he only shook the net once, Gokul dominated throughout the match. From the start, the Gokulam strikers unleashed an attack on Sudeva’s goal. At least 4 shots on goal by Gokul went wide of the net. The goal finally came in the 68th minute. Dennis Aguirre’s low cross from the right side of the box was easily deflected into the net. Gokul’s next match is against Churchill Brothers on March 1. It was also the last match of the first round.

Yesterday’s the 3rd consecutive victory of Gokul in the I-League season. Gokulam defeated Trau FC 3–1 to beat the Indian Arrows 4–0 in the last match. They beat Sudeva 1–0 yesterday.
