He came to the Indian team in a big build-up and after two series, Tata gave up and left

Umran Malik came to the Indian team with high expectations. Umran was the player who shocked everyone with his pace bowling in the IPL. Umran has been getting a lot of build ups that he is the future of the Indian team and international players will sweat to face him.

But the star’s international performances were not as expected by Umran and Indian fans. So far, Umran hasn’t been able to show any trepidation with his extra pace.

The player was in the team for the South Africa series that started after the IPL but could not play in the match. But in the series against Ireland, he was included in the starting XI.

He bowled just one over in the first match of the two-match series. Umran gave away 14 runs in that over. In the second match, which was rained out, the player gave away 42 runs, taking just one wicket in four overs.

In this match, when all the batsmen were performing well, Umran did not face much criticism because he conceded so many runs.

But the player who got another chance in the last Twenty20 match against England could not use that opportunity either. England batsmen scored 56 runs against the star in that match. All the bowlers took hits but Umran took the most hits.

With this, Umran received a lot of criticism. There were many arguments against him that he was overhyped and that it was not his time to play in the Indian team.

Now the star has been excluded from the Twenty20 series against the West Indies, which starts later this month. Umran’s fate is to get out of the team after coming to such hype and not being able to live up to the expectations.

But captain Rohit Sharma said that the star has a bright future and will be given opportunities before the World Cup.

In any case, Umran must have understood that it is not possible to keep pace in international cricket without line and length. The player will soon be on his way to prove his ability to the Indian team.

Meanwhile, former captain Virat Kohli was also left out of the series against West Indies. BCCI’s argument is that the player was given rest.
