Early this morning, a fire broke out in the warehouse of an environmental resource center in Yangyang, Gangwon-do, and extinguishing work has been going on for more than 6 hours.

Last night, three ships collided in the sea near Geoje, and one was flooded, and the captain in his 60s was rescued.

Around midnight this morning, a fire broke out in the warehouse of an environmental resource center in Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do.

At one point, as the flames spread to the nearby forest, the fire authorities announced the first stage of response and put out the fire.

The fire was extinguished in about an hour and a half, but 0.25 hectares of forest was lost.

A fire fighting officer explained, “At the moment, the wildfires are almost extinguished, but there is a lot of waste in the warehouse, so we continue to extinguish the fire while conducting the first phase of the response.”

On the fishing boat, people wearing life jackets are busy moving.

The pump continuously pumps out water.

At around 5:30 pm yesterday, three vessels, including a 1,100-ton boat, a 60-ton tugboat, and a 4-ton fishing boat, collided in the sea north of Isudo, Jangmak-myeon, Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam – do.

The fishing boat sank in this accident, and the captain in his 60s was rescued by the Coast Guard.

The Coastguard is investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.

Around 7 pm last night, electricity supply to an apartment complex in Yangchon-eup, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do was cut off for about an hour, causing inconvenience to about 700 households.
