On the 17th, YouTuber Mojiri, a Ukrainian citizen, uploaded a video on his YouTube channel titled “I went to a barber shop in Kiiu, Ukraine + met an international volunteer.”

In the video, he said, “I met a volunteer yesterday. They said that they came to Kiiu two days ago to reorganize after fighting in the eastern region with Irfin.” “There were three members of the team of Captain Lee Geun. One is from Finland, one is from Texas, and I can’t remember the other one.”

He continued, “I heard that one of the team members was shot in the shoulder. He said that he was going to be hospitalized and then returned to battle after completing the two-week maintenance period. He was told it was his will. It’s really great,” he said.

He said he majored in rehabilitation medicine, adding that he passed on rehabilitation-related tips to Captain Lee Geun’s team.

On the 30th of last month, Lee Geun posted on Instagram, “We have gathered foreign agents from the United States and the United Kingdom to form a special operations team. Then my team was given and carried out a number of classified missions. We ask for your understanding that detailed information cannot be disclosed due to security concerns.”

Meanwhile, three out of six people who entered Ukraine without permission to enlist in a foreign volunteer unit along with Geun Lee were handed over to the prosecution.

The police sent them on the 1st for violating the passport law. Of the three sent, two of them left the country with the former Captain Lee and returned to Korea on the 16th of last month. One is Logan, who made his name known by appearing as an instructor in the reality web entertainment ‘Fake Man 2’, and the other is known as a photographer in his late twenties.

The police added that they plan to investigate Lee Geun and others who have not returned to Korea as soon as they return.

According to the current ‘Passport Act’, Korean citizens must obtain an ‘exceptional passport use permission’ from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to visit or stay in a country where a travel warning level 4 has been issued.
