Heo Young-ji of KARA Draws Attention in the Comedy Industry

Heo Young-ji, a member of the K-pop group KARA, found herself in an awkward situation as she tried to explain her mistake during an appearance on the web entertainment channel ‘Nopaku Tak Jae-hoon’.
Heo Young-ji, who is also known for her role as a regular MC on tvN’s ‘Comedy Big League’, joined the show as a guest. During the conversation, host Tak Jae-hoon asked her about marriage. Heo Young-ji responded, “Actually, I haven’t thought about it yet.” Shin Gyu-jin chimed in, saying, “I heard that when KARA members get together, marriage is the only topic of discussion.”
Heo Young-ji confirmed this, stating, “Yes, we often talk about who will get married first.” Tak Jae-hoon continued, “So, who do you think will be the first to marry?” Shin Gyu-jin jokingly stated that there might not be any KARA members currently dating, to which Heo Young-ji quickly denied, saying, “No, that’s not true.”
Then, Shin Gyu-jin asked, “Is having a boyfriend or girlfriend a sin?” Tak Jae-hoon rephrased the question and asked, “Which KARA member do you think will get into a relationship first?” Misunderstanding the question, Heo Young-ji instantly replied, “I think Seung-yeon will.”
Upon realizing her mistake, Tak Jae-hoon burst into laughter and teased Heo Young-ji, “You answered so quickly!” Heo Young-ji clarified, “I meant to say ‘get married’!” But Tak Jae-hoon playfully responded, “I didn’t say I’m getting married now.” Heo Young-ji seemed confused and asked, “Weren’t we just talking about marriage?” Shin Kyu-jin added, “She immediately thought you were asking about hooking up.”
Despite Heo Young-ji’s attempts to explain herself, Tak Jae-hoon mischievously concluded the topic, saying, “Let’s end it here.” Finally, Heo Young-ji gave up and humorously said, “I’m not going to explain anymore.”

Talking to Heo Young-ji, Tak Jae-hoon asked, “Are you going to get married?” Heo Young-ji replied, “Actually, I don’t have any thoughts yet,” and Shin Gyu-jin asked, “I heard that when KARA members get together, they only talk about getting married. ”
Heo Young-ji said, “That’s right. We’re talking about who will go first,” and Tak Jae-hoon asked, “Who do you think will go (to marry) first?” Shin Gyu-jin said, “If you looked at me, I don’t think there are people who have boyfriends right now,” and Heo Young-ji quickly waved her hand and said, “No, it’s not that’s true.”

Then Shin Gyu-jin was surprised and asked, “No, is having a lover a sin?” and Tak Jae-hoon changed the question a bit and asked again, “Which of the KARA members do you think will hook you first? ” Heo Young-ji, who misheard the question, immediately replied, “I think Seung-yeon will go,” and Shin Gyu-jin was surprised, saying, “She’s hooking up?”
At Heo Young-ji’s mistake, Tak Jae-hoon started laughing, saying, “You answer very quickly,” and Heo Young-ji explained, “Get married!” Tak Jae-hoon said, “I didn’t say I’m getting married now,” and Heo Young-ji asked, “Weren’t you just talking about marriage?” Tak Jae-hoon teased, “No. I asked who among the Kara members he would hook up with first, and he said, ‘Seungyeon unni.'” Shin Kyu-jin also chimed in, saying, “She’ n come out immediately.”
In response, Heo Young-ji explained again, “No, I got married first,” but Tak Jae-hoon showed a mischievous side until the end, saying, “I’ll finish this question here.” Heo Young-ji, who was finally released, made people laugh by saying, “I’m not even going to explain.”
