The controversy over ‘no-mask’ arose while actor Park Seo-joon was caught watching the North London Derby to support his best friend Son Heung-min.

Park Seo-joon watched the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal FC in the 6th round of the 2021-2022 English Premier League held at the Emirates Stadium in London, England on the 27th (Korean time).

A familiar face was caught on the relay camera before the game started. Actor Park Seo-joon in a soccer jersey was staring at the stadium with his arms crossed.

Park Seo-joon recently departed for England to film the Marvel movie ‘The Marvels’ and seems to have visited the stadium to support his close brother Son Heung-min.

Some pointed out that Park Seo-joon was watching the game without wearing a mask. When Park Seo-joon was first caught on the relay camera, he was in a ‘no-mask’ state, but was wearing a mask in the second half of the game.

The UK has entered a phase of ‘with Corona’ by lifting quarantine restrictions such as wearing indoor masks. Prevention of quarantine has been shifted to measures based on personal responsibility rather than legal regulations, and soccer fields and concert halls can be entered without a mask upon submitting a certificate of completion of vaccination. But British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said it was common sense and polite to wear a mask in crowded places.

In fact, most of the viewers caught on the broadcast screen were no-masks, but the Asians who appeared to be Park Seo-joon and his companions were wearing masks from the beginning.

Domestic netizens are arguing with the opinion that there is no problem not to wear a mask in the UK, which is in a ‘with Corona’ state, and that it is inappropriate to have a ‘no mask’ on a soccer field where tens of thousands of people gather.

On the other hand, Park Seo-joon left on the 3rd to appear in ‘The Marvels’, the sequel to ‘Captain Marvel’. The entertainment media Screenrant predicted that Park Seo-joon is highly likely to play the Korean hero Amadeus Cho.
