Heung-min Son thirsty season 1 and 2 goals EPL goal candidate for September

Goal-hungry Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur) scored his first and second goals of the season and was nominated for the English Premier League (EPL) goal of the month for September.

Heung-Min Son’s first and second goals of the season were included among the eight goals for the EPL September in the 2022-2023 season announced by the Premier League Secretariat on the 23rd (Korea time).

Son Heung-min was replaced by Hisharlisson in the 14th minute of the second half in the 8th round of the Premier League home game against Leicester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England on the 18th, scoring only three goals and leading the team to a 6-2 win.

Heung-min Son, who failed to score in eight official games, including six Premier League games and two UEFA Champions League games this season, saw his first goal of the season after nine games.

Two of his three goals were also nominated for Goal of the Month.

The first goal of the season, made with a right-footed mid-range shot from the right side of the penalty spot in the 28th minute of the second half in front of two defenders, the second goal being scored with a kick left foot from a similar area after receiving a pass from Harry Kane in the 39th minute of the second half was the goal of the month award.

2nd and 3rd goals Ivan Toni (Brentford) scored a hat-trick against Leeds United, Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham) goals against Tottenham and Alexis Magalister (Brighton & Hove Albion) against Leicester City Goal, Phillip Billing (Bournemouth)’s goal against Nottingham Forest, and Joao Palinha’s (Fulham) goal against Nottingham were included in the list of goals for September.

The Goal of the Month will be decided by a fan vote until 8 pm on the 26th and the result added to the choice of a panel of experts.
