High Court bans four days from May 1; There should be no election victory demonstrations or rallies

The High Court has banned the state from holding election victory demonstrations or rallies for four days from May 1.

Kochi: The high court has ruled that gatherings should not be held for four days from May 1.

No election victory demonstrations or rallies. The court also directed the police to ensure compliance with the regulations. The court also directed to file a case against those violating the order under the Infectious Diseases Prevention Act.

The government had decided to impose strict restrictions similar to the lockdown from May 4 to 9 in the state in the wake of the Kovid aggravation.
