A sad accident occurred at a barn in Goesan County, North Chungcheong Province, where a high school student who was helping his grandfather died when a feed conveyor collapsed.
According to Goesan Police Station on the 30th, at around 7:22 pm on the 28th, a cylindrical conveyor connecting the feed mixer and the fermenter collapsed and hit Group A (17).
Group A suffered serious head injuries in the accident and was taken to a nearby hospital, but eventually died. Mr. B (20s), who was with him, was also injured and is being treated in hospital.
Group A was said to have had an accident while visiting a barn to help his grandfather that day. The carrier was made of steel and was found to weigh around 800 kg.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
