The Government Gazette publishes the announcement of the Prime Minister’s Office regarding the appointment of the President of the University Council and eligible members of the University Council of Thammasat University, with the details as follows:
According to the Royal Command, His Highness appoints the President of the University Council and qualified members of the University Council of Thammasat University. From 18 January 2020 according to the announcement of the Office of the Prime Minister, dated 21 January 2020, which completes the term of office on 17 January 2022.
By virtue of Section 20(1) and (8) of the Thammasat University Act 2015 at Thammasat University Council Meeting No. 1/2522 dated January 17, 2022, No. 2/2022 dated February 28, 2022 and No. 8/ 2522, dated August 15, 2022, it was decided to submit to the King graciously appointing 16 people who deserve to hold a new position, as follows:
1. Mr. Surapon Nitikraipot is the President of the University Council.
2. Ms. Kulaya Tantitemit is a qualified member of the University Council.
3. Mr. Kajit Chatchavanich is a qualified member of the University Council.
4. Mr. Charan Chantalukhana is a qualified member of the University Council.
5. Mr. Chakkrit Paraphanthakul is a qualified member of the University Council.
6. Mr. Thawilap Rittapirom is a qualified member of the University Council.
7. Mr. Nontikorn Kanchanachitra is a qualified member of the University Council.
8. Mr. Naksit Kuwatanachai is a qualified member of the University Council.
9. Mr. Sophon Mekthon is a qualified member of the University Council.
10. Mr. Pisit Sereewiwattana is a qualified member of the University Council.
11. Mr. Manit Suksomjit is a qualified member of the University Council.
12. Mr. Winit Silamongkol is a qualified member of the University Council.
13. Mr. Wiwat Laohapoonrungsee is a qualified member of the University Council.
14. Mr. Wuttisarn Tanchai is a qualified member of the University Council.
15. Mr. Sakon Varunyuwatana is a qualified member of the University Council.
16. Mrs. Arawadee Photisaro is a qualified member of the University Council.
