Historic achievement for Sarah Taylor – first woman to coach a men’s franchise cricket team

Abu Dhabi: Former England wicketkeeper-batsman Sarah Taylor has become the first woman to coach a men’s franchise cricket team.

Sarah achieved this feat when she was appointed as the team’s Abu Dhabi co – coach in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. The Abu Dhabi T10 League kicks off on November 19. Sarah has previously worked as a woman specialized coach at County Club Sussex. Sarah is one of the all – time leading wicket – keepers for the England women’s cricket team.

Sarah hopes that her achievement in the T10 League will inspire women around the world. Sarah, 32, made her England debut in 2006. He played 10 Tests, 126 ODIs and 90 Twenty20 Internationals for the team. He retired in 2019.
