History trip! SpaceX sends ‘four civilians’ into orbit around Earth on Mission Inspiration4 (watch clip)

SpaceX’s carrier rocket leads e-commerce billionaires Three other civilians and three other civilians took off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida late evening (Sept. 15) under the “Inspiration4” mission, the first time in history that a civilian has been sent. pure who are not experienced astronauts going into orbit around the Earth

Jared Isaacman, Founder and CEO Shift4 Payments Inc, a payment gateway provider. Along with three other companions, Sian Procter One, 51, Hayley Arseno, 29, and Chris Sembrowski, 42, became amateur astronauts out. Travel aboard the Crew Dragon capsule mounted on SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. before the sun goes down at Cape Canaveral The rocket took off from the launch pad at 8:03 p.m. EDT and entered Earth orbit about 10 minutes later.

The first-stage booster propulsion engine is separated from the upper rocket. and returned to land safely at a floating launch pad in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

The inside of SpaceX’s mission control center was filled with loud cheers. As the rocket soared to an altitude of nearly 200 kilometers above Earth, Isaacman read a statement thanking everyone involved for the successful completion of the mission.

“It is a journey into an exciting and unexplored realm… where few have ever reached. and there will be many more people to follow.”

“The door has opened. And it’s really unbelievable,” he said.

The Inspiration4 mission aims to bring the four civilians to an altitude of 575 kilometers, an orbit higher than the International Space Station. (International Space Station – ISS) or Hubble Space Telescope (Hubble Space Telescope) and is considered the longest distance that humans have ever traveled from Earth. Since the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) ended the Apollo program in 1972.

At that altitude, the Crew Dragon capsule orbits the Earth once every 90 minutes at a speed of 27,360 kilometers per hour, or about 22 times the speed of sound.

This voyage without professional astronauts will take approximately three days since the rocket took off from the Kennedy Space Center. Until the time the capsule returned to Earth and touched the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Inspiration4 project marks the launch of billionaire Elon Musk’s first space tourism business, and sets SpaceX a step ahead of many of its competitors in offering exciting and deep space travel experiences for paying customers.

Jared Isaacman came up with this project to raise awareness. and raised funds for St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a pediatric cancer center in Memphis, Tennessee, for himself, even if he wasn’t an astronaut. But has experience in piloting many military jets.

According to Time magazine, the amount Isaacman paid to Musk to send him and three of his companions to space could be as high as $200 million.
