Honda F1 prepares a specially tuned “rocket” engine for the final two races?[F1-Gate .com]

It is rumored that the Honda F1 will be equipped with its own new “rocket” engine specially tuned to Max Verstappen’s machine for the final two races.

At the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix, Mercedes F1 introduces a new engine to Lewis Hamilton. Lewis Hamilton was given a five-grid demotion penalty in addition to his disqualification from qualifying, but he overtook Max Verstappen to win the championship.

The engine, which Red Bull F1 motorsport adviser Helmut Marco calls a “rocket,” was preserved in the previous F1 Qatar GP and will be a faster circuit again in the last two races of the F1 Saudi Arabian GP and the F1 Abu Dhabi GP. used.

But Keith van der Glint, a former Bridgestone engineer who worked with Michael Schumacher at Ferrari, says the Red Bull Honda F1 shouldn’t be overly focused on Lewis Hamilton’s “rocket” engine.

“Rocket engine? No, don’t worry,” Keith van de Glint told RTLGP.

“Of course, with the exception of the two guys who have to step on the accelerator, the package will determine that.”

Meanwhile, it is rumored that Honda F1 is considering launching its own “rocket” engine with special adjustments for the last two races. With the introduction of a new engine, Max Verstappen will be penalized with a grid, but Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi with long straights may have the same weapons as Lewis Hamilton.

“I saw Jeddah’s truck and it’s certainly fast, but on the other hand it requires good traction, and I think Red Bull has an advantage there,” said Keith van de Glint.

“I think it’s going to be a very exciting fight. I hope it’s not too exciting.”

“In some places Mercedes is better, in other places Red Bull is better. It may be surprising, and one of them may have an advantage, but the drivers themselves are the same. Is excellent ”
